My name is Amy-Le Owens, I am a closet writer, a poetry attemptee, a vegan foodie, an avid traveler, and a thrifty shopper. Join me on my escapades…
Writing is my absolute passion and I have been secretly writing stories since the age of 15.
Brian May and Virginia McKenna have both praised my poems (the hunt and my freedom) which still doesn’t feel real, but remains my claim to fame.
At age 19 I started my own upcycled/vintage clothing business which is now ran by my mum. She also runs St Helen’s first vegan restaurant, can I get a whoop-whoop?!
At age 12 I was on the news for self-publishing a poetry book, which won me an award at a mini-enterprise competition. My little business was called Lilac Shoes (I know, too cool).
I once had a llama.
